Akwana wins first match with Mahakama

Mahakama

On-the-road Mahakama handed hosts Magongo Rangers a 2-0 beating in their Division One match played on Saturday 28 July at the Mombasa Sports Club.

This was the first win for Mahakama, since the installation of former Sofapaka and Rangers tactician Ezekiel Akwana as the head Coach.

The win was secured by Charles Pilipili and Philbert Mumah, with their 26th and 85th minute respective goals.

Standings

After the match, Mahakama, with 38 points, are ranked sixth in the Eastern Zone standings, while, Magongo are placed 14th, having amassed 25 points from 23 matches.
