Akango: I feel better now, will resume training

Nairobi City Stars defender Francis Akango is optimistic that he will resume training with the team next week and hopefully play against Ulinzi on Sunday 12 August 2012.

-I feel better now. I will resume training next week and hopefully play against Ulinzi.

The former Gor Mahia and Tusker FC defender is recovering from a bout of Malaria and will not travel with the team as they head to Chemelil.

He was voted the second best defender in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) in 2009.

Nairobi City Stars face Chemelil on Sunday 29 July 2012 at the Chemelil Stadium.
