Ajose hopes for home victory

Nicholas Olushola Ajose

Nigerian striker Nicholas Olushola Ajose will likely star for his English League One team, Crawley Town as they take on Milton Keynes Dons at the Broadfield Stadium, Crawley, West Sussex later on Tuesday.

Ajose joined Crawley from Chesterfield at the summer of 2012 and has since fit into the Crawley team.

Nikky has played all but one match for Crawley so far this season and his contribution has so far helped Crawley appear in contention for qualification to the Championship.

Confidence

The 21 year-old though has just two goals so far, he will possibly have his eyes set on getting a goal or more at the Tuesday encounter, in order to justify team manager, Richard Barker’s confidence on him.

Crawley United has never met MK Dons in a competitive fixture.

Reds have won their last two at the Broadfield while MK Dons have drawn three and lost the other of their last four games. Their most recent away win was 4-1 at Bury in September.

Tough encounter

Barker has predicted that the match is going to be a tough one, saying they are an experienced side with great players.

-It's going to be a very difficult 90 minutes. MK Dons manager, Karl Robinson's teams like to play in the right way and I think it will be a decent game but they are an experienced League One side with some very good individuals and any side which finishes above them will have had a good season, declared Barker.

The 37 year-old manager however insisted that their team have also got great form on their own side.

-Having said that, we are at home and go into it on the back of two good results and hopefully we can continue our good form and make it a hard night for them, said Barker.
