Zoo Kericho stunned Agrochemicals 1-0 on Sunday 28 October, in a pulsating Division One [Zone B] League match, at Green Stadium to derailing the visitor’s topflight promotion hopes.
Mike Muganda scored the important goal of the match in the 72nd minute penalty, after he was brought down in the area for Zoo to extend their winning streak to ten games.
Proved wrong
Speaking to futaa.com after the match, Zoo Coach Ken Ochieng’ was full of praise for his charges.
-They (Agro) thought it was easy, but we proved them wrong. They quickly forget about our recent winning record, and I am happy with the boys’ display, he said.
Zoo are now seventh on the log with 66 points, 13 points behind fourth placed Agrochemicals.
