2013 Africa Cup of Nations hosts South Africa is set to host
African Champions Zambia in a friendly tie planned for Soccer City in Johannesburg
on 14 November 2012 – a FIFA international match day.
Readiness
The tie comes barely a month after South Africa played two other friendly ties against Poland and Kenya’s Harambee Stars on 12 and 16 October 2012 respectively.
For the game, Zambia has called up a strong 24-man squad.
Collins Mbesuma
Making the Chipolopolo list for the tie is former Portsmouth and Maritimo striker Collins Mbesuma now with Orlando Pirates in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League.
Also in is Emmanuel Mayuka of Southampton in the English Premiership and Jacob Mulenga of FC Utrecht, Holland.
