The Group D of the 2013 Africa Nations Cup in South Africa will likely be the 'group of death' as at least three of the teams out of the four teams in the group have a chance of qualifying.
Group D has Ivory Coast, Togo, Algeria and Tunisia. Ivory Coast are the stand out favourites in the group, but Togo will fancy their chances against Algeria and Tunisia, with the two North African sides cancelling each other out in what will be a titanic opening game for the two.
The Super Eagles will play in Group C, and the Stephen Keshi handled side will face the hurdle of the defending champions Zambia, Ethiopia and Burkina Faso.
Tussle
The Eagles defeated Zambia 2-0 before the last Nations Cup, when the Zambians were on the way to the Nations Cup, the Chipolopolo will go on to win the tournament.
Group A, has hosts South Africa, Morocco, Angola and new comers Cape Verde making up the group. The most interesting game in that group will likely be the tussle between hosts South Africa and Morocco.
In Group B, Ghana will seem to be the sole kings of the hill, with only Mali likely to trouble the Ghanaians, but Niger and DR Congo are not expected to provide too tough opposition.
