Afcon 2013: Fegor Ogude back for Mali

Fegor Ogude

Nigeria will welcome back midfield lynchpin Fegor Ogude, who missed Sunday’s clash ahead of the semi final duel with Mali on Wednesday.

Ogude was not available for selection on Sunday  after earning two yellow cards in the group stage.

More work

The Valenrenga of Norway starlwart  will however need more hard work to feature against Mali because Super Eagles  Coach Stephen Keshi may well decide not to alter a winning side that against all odds saw off firm favourites The Elephants of Cote d’ Ivoire.

The Eagles are billed to hold their first training session in Durban this evening ahead of Mali clash as players will stake claims for shirt in Wednesday’s all West Africa Semi final duel.

Replacement

Ogenyi Onazi replaced the suspended Ogude in the Ivory Coast clash and did not do too badly but got a yellow card in the cause of the game.
