AFC loan out young midfielder to talent hub

AFC Leopards midfielder Fredrick Mutethia has joined Provincial League side FISA FC on a six-month loan deal.

The teenager was identified by AFC Leopards officials last year (2011) while playing for Moi Forces Academy during the Term two B High School ball games.

-He’s a very talented young player and we felt he would develop better at FISA. I know he will be a much better player after the six months, AFC Leopards Assistant Coach Mickey Weche told futaa.com.

FISA Head Coach Charles Korea Omondi has heaped praise on the youngster saying that he has a great future ahead.

-I’ve watched Fredrick during our training sessions and all I can say is the lad is destined for greater things in his career. I hope to use him during our weekend game and most of our upcoming Provincial League matches.

Loan

Kenya International winger Paul Were recently joined AFC Leopards on a one-year loan deal from the talent hub (FISA).
