AFC Leopards-Gor Mahia tickets to start selling Thursday

The ticketing information for the Kibunja Peace Cup match between Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards has been released.

Bitter rivals for as long as they have existed, Gor and AFC have been penciled in to play in the off-season match on Saturday 17 December 2011, at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Tickets for the match will start selling on Thursday 15 December 2011 at various outlets in the City. Gate charges have been fixed at Ksh 200 each for terraces and Ksh 500 VIP, with the match kicking off at 1600 Hrs local time.

G4S, will handle the ticketing arrangement and will thus sell them from their various outlets including Afya Centre, 20^th Century plaza, Dagorreti corner, Buruburu Shopping Centre and Witu Road Industrial Area.

Preach peace

The mission of the cup will be to preach the gospel of peace in the country under the sponsorship of Dr. Mzalendo Kibunja - Head of the National Integration Cohesion Commission (NCIC).

Winners will take home Kshs 1 million prize money and Kshs 250,000 appearance fee, while the runners up will pocket Kshs 500,000 prize money and Kshs 250,000 appearance fees.

The gate collections from the match will be donated to be used in peace initiatives in the country.
