The club is in the process of acquiring a new bus for use by the club's staff and playing unit, with a committee mandated to handle the fundraising process, already on duty.
A target of Ksh 6 million has been set by the club to acquire the automobile.
According to the club, a limited number of the AFC Leopards Bus Project T-Shirt will be produced and sold to supporters to boost the fundraising kitty.
Successful project
The soon to be released T- shirts will sell at Ksh 1,000.
Meanwhile Committee Member JJ Masiga has called on all club supporters to support the Bus Project.
Speaking to the club's website, Masiga said that a club of AFC's stature deserves a classic and reliable mode of transport and he is going to put in his all in mobilizing funds towards the project.
-I’m honored to be a member of this committee and will use all my contacts and professional networks to make this project a success, he said.
Leopards are hoping to acquire the bus by April 2012.
