Admiral awarded points from abandoned game

On Saturday 22 September 2012, a Coast derby between Admiral and Sparki Youth failed to see the full 90 minutes.

Admiral led the game

The game played at Tudor grounds was abandoned in the 88th minute after the center referee Martin Wekesa was assaulted by a mob said to be Sparki Youth supporters.

At the time of the call off, Admiral led the game with a goal, a penalty scored by Roosevelt Blaty on 63 minutes.

Moved off spot seven

Sparki have since been penalized heavily for that occurrence by FKF who now confirm that Admiral have been awarded the game on a 2-0, three point basis.

With three added points, Admiral has now moved off spot seven to go above Ligi Ndogo to settle at sixth in the 20-team Division One Zone A log with 48 points from 27 games.
