Adagala: We never agreed on any 20%

Moses Adagala

The Muhoroni Youth chairman Mr. Moses Adagala has defended his team over allegations of non payment of stadium fees after his club’s match against AFC Leopards on Sunday 30 September at the Afraha Stadium, Nakuru.

Pre match agreement

Muhoroni Youth lost the encounter 1 – 2 and afterwards they were accused of storming the stadium offices and grabbing the gate collections thereby defaulting on a pre match agreement to pay 20% of the collections.

However, Adagala informed futaa.com that the club’s finance officer Mr. Maurice Otieno Achiko was not informed of any such payment before or during the match and challenged the municipality to produce evidence that there was any such agreement.

Booked venue

-We never agreed on any 20% payment on anything. The only remittance we knew of was the 7000 shillings to book the venue and that was settled well before kickoff. If there was any such agreement we should have been informed in the pre match meeting.

-Even our finance officer knew nothing about it and we want to challenge the people claiming the money to produce any document or proof that we agreed on it, he said.
