Sparki Youth won three out of a possible six points in their tour of the capital on the weekend on 13 - 14 October and in summing up the weekend action, coach Ali Abdalla lauded his charges for their output.
Abdalla Hopeful
The Coastal side lost 0 – 2 to Green Berets on Saturday 13 October but managed a 3 – 1 win over KSL Thola Glass a day later to edge closer to safety and the coach, speaking to futaa.com after the win, hoped for a repeat in the upcoming matches.
- Yesterday
against Green Berets we should not have lost - we played on a very bad pitch
that suited them and not us but all the same the boys played very well.
Few concerns
-As of the Thola Galss game, I have very few concerns; they knew we need to get off the relegation zone by all means and worked towards it. With this win, we hope for better results in our next three home games and we will be safe.
-Mohammed Baher, Omar Bashir and keeper Justus Agongo were among the best performers though it was an overall outstanding team performance, he said.
Eme Lucky scored a brace for Sparki the Mike Izungu the other; while Victor Muchina got the goal for Thola Glass.
