Only twelve (12) referees out of sixty (60) qualified for the Physical Endurance Test (formerly Cooper Test) for South Coast Branch held at KPA Mbaraki sports club on Saturday 9 June 2012.
Event was very successful
Out of those qualified, four came from Mombasa, five from Kaloleni and three from Taita Taveta. None of referee qualified from Kwale County. All the qualifiers were men except from Teresia Mwakichi from Taita Taveta County.
According to the vice Chairman of Kenya Football Referees Association, South Coast Branch Salim Ali, the event went well.
-The event was successful, the turn out was overwhelming and the process well organized, an excited Salim said.
Legible to officiate
The referees who qualified will travel to Nairobi for the National Physical Endurance Test to be held on Saturday 16 June 2012.
The qualifiers of the national event will be legible to officiate in the Kenya Premier League and the second tier Division One league matches.
