Sakata ball: Galacticos lock horns with Victoria in Nyanza Regional Finals

Galacticos and Victoria beat their opponents earlier today (4th June, 2011) to meet in the Finals which will be at 1430 hrs later today (4th June, 2011).

Galacticos beat Suba Lakers 2-1 to move an inch closer to winning the Girls tournament while Victoria pipped Bonchari by a solitary goal to make it to the finals.

Mercy Oginga put Galacticos in the lead but this was cancelled when Pauline Otieno who levelled the score for Suba Lakers. Ramadhan Shakillah rose to the occasion to separate the two sides by netting in the winner for Galacticos who cruised to the finals.

On the other end of the pitch, Victoria sealed a slim victory over Bonchari courtesy of a solitary goal scored by Beatrice Onyango.

The winners of the finals will scoop Kshs. 50000 while the losers will pocket Kshs. 25000
