In the free age category, Galactico from Kisumu beat Victoria also from Kisumu 1-0 in the final match with Mercy Achieng once again getting the lone goal for Galactico to clinch the overall title.
In the Semi finals matches Galactico of Kisumu who also represent the lakeside city in the women’s league sponsored by Unicef thrashed Ebusundi from western province by 5-0 with Mercy Achieng one of the best players of the tournament grabbing a hat trick for herself as Ramadhan Shagila and Rosemary Wanjiru got the rest of the goals.
In the other Semifinal match in the free age category Victoria ladies also from Kisumu fought hard to overcome Soccer sisters from Nairobi 1-0 in another pulsating match that could have gone either way as both sets of teams showed composure and great flair but Victoria were more determined to get the win through

In the under 14 age category Galactico ladies emerged victorious in the final match beating tough opponents Soccer sisters from Nairobi in post match penalties 3-2 after the match ended in a barren draw to clinch the coveted top prizes that included cash, medals and trophies.
Earlier in the semifinals Galactico beat Suba Lakers from Mbita 2-1 with Belinda Auma and Rose Atieno scoring for Galactico while Suba Lakers replied through Alicent Awuor but it was not enough to get them to the finals. In the other semifinal for under 14 Soccer sisters from Nairobi beat Bislet from Kisumu 2-0 in another entertaining match to book a place in the finals.
The best player award went to Marline Awuor of Victoria while the best goal keeper award went to Rosemary Aluoch of Galactico. In the under 14 age category Sharon Wanjiru of soccer sisters from Nairobi emerged the best player in the tournament that attracted many football supporters who thronged the Kenyatta sports ground in the Lakeside City of Kisumu.
