Pascal’s Simba rallies to beat Azam

Kenyan international defender Pascal Ochieng’ featured for Simba SC as the reigning Tanzanian Premier League Champions rallied from a goal down to beat Azam 3-1 in a thrilling match, on Saturday 27 October, at Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium.

Prolific hit-man John Bocco put Ibrahim Shikanda’s Azam ahead in the fourth minute but his celebrations were cut-short by Felix Sunzu’s equalizer in the seventh minute.

Ten minutes later, Azam suffered a big blow after Bocco picked-up a knee injury for Mcha Khamis to replace him..

Simba fully capitalized on Bocco’s injury with Uganda Cranes forward Emmanuel Okwi hitting a brace in the 41^st and 51 minutes respectively-for Simba to register their sixth win of the season and extend their stay at the top of the table.
