Gareth Bale has been named in the Wales squad for
Wednesday's friendly with Bosnia-Hercegovina at Llanelli.
Injury
The Tottenham Hotspur winger missed May's friendly defeat to Mexico in New Jersey and has been troubled by back and ankle injuries.
Other call-ups
Captain Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen, Craig Bellamy and Neil Taylor, who played for Great Britain at the Olympics, are also included by manager Chris Coleman.
Wayne Hennessey and David Vaughan are missing through injury.
First-choice goalkeeper Hennessey is recovering from a torn cruciate ligament and appears unlikely to be fit for the opening 2014 World Cup qualifiers at home to Belgium on 7 September and away to Serbia four days later.
Coleman had revealed he was considering asking Cardiff City defender Ben Turner and Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross if they were interested in playing for Wales.
Both England-born players are eligible for Wales, but neither have been included in this squad.
Late arrivals
The squad is due to meet up in Cardiff on Sunday, but Ledley and Adam Matthews will be late arrivals after playing a friendly for Celtic against Real Madrid in Philadelphia.
