Blog: Where is the money FKF??

Sam Nyamweya
I had a feeling we would be at this juncture the moment I walked into the Nyayo Stadium on Tuesday.

The turnout was enough to buy President Sam Nyamweya and his fellows at the Football Kenya Federation a huge smile.

When I saw the FKF officials and their badges at the Stadium, they were all handshakes, hugs, sipping beer and all... Forget the usual groundnuts and tea.

Some were even sat around beautiful ladies... And you knew straight away that there was a conspiracy brewing.

Not something that I am surprised about anyway.

A week later

Nearly a week after the Bafana clash, there are still no match figures. Well we know Bafana won 2-1, but that is where it ends.. Where is the important stuff?? Like ticket sales??

We do not know how many people attended the match, and also, we have no idea how many tickets were sold (In reality).

It is not like I am surprised, but when they came into power, FKF promised they would be accountable from the start... I trusted them..

They also said that they would be transparent and do things in the right manner.

So I guess I am right to ask where the figures are ?? I am just asking.. like the believing person I am...

Cut down

I can bet you right now, that those figures are being looked at with the scrutiny of election votes.

I can imagine Nyamweya and the FKF just sitting down and salivating at the money in the account.. Hee, tenth wonder of the world.

I mean, they must be scratching their heads wondering what they will tell Kenyans.

How much of a lie are they cooking up now.. A five day long lie?

It must be a big one.

Sponsors

Pre the Bafana match, Nyamweya made a personal appeal to sponsors out there to come support his cause... Support the growth of Kenyan football.. The rise of the Harambee Stars..

He made a speech that would have killed Barrack Obama's political aspirations.

Thing is though, what Nyamweya does not know is that taking us for fools does not really work because we know how these things work. We know who he is and his past deeds.

He is as transparent as a tinted window and he expects us to trust him?

Or sponsors to throw in their money?

Wait it out

I can authoritatively say that I am waiting with bated breath for the numbers to be released..

They now say that they will be out on Monday..... Tick.. tock.... tick... tock.. The clock is ticking.

Needless to say, I can smell a rat from where I am sitting.
