Always in the know about things that matter more than others do matter, the world is as round as it gets when you have the power to read and write at the same time.
Everyday, you are juggling between HBC Mlimani and Cristiano Ronaldo.. Between Land Mawe FC and Sofapaka... Talanta and Tusker..
Cleophas Shimanyula and Sam Nyamweya......Bob Mugalia and Collins Okoth.... Not an easy job I can tell you..
They say that if handling a marriage is not easy for you, try being a journalist.....
Stories that matter
As mentioned earlier, there are stories that matter more than others do matter in the every day cycle that is life...
How Harambee Stars will pay their new French coach.. tick in the box..
Corruption in Division one... tick in the box..
Top 8 stand-off.. tick in the box..
Disappearance of AFC Leopards funds.. tick, tick tick.. Get the drift??
There are others that matter less than others do matter... like the continuous farce about Victor Wanyama moving to Man United.
Now, I am not trying to insinuate that a fellow with the power to read and write at the same time is sleeping on the job..
I am also not trying to say that Victor Wanyama is not interested in going to United like the man with the power to read and write wrote.
Neither am I saying that Victor is not talented enough to play for United.
Rather, I am trying to say that the story is less important than others that matter more than it does matter.
Next week, the team with a name that sounds like it was picked up by two drunk men staggering home.. Bafana Bafana will be in town for a friendly match.
Victor Wanyama, who is linked to the greatest club on earth and has has been linked to other clubs which call themselves the greatest clubs in the world too, will be around to play against Bafana Bafana.
But someone somewhere, with the power to read and write decided that being linked to the greatest club in the world and other similar ones was what matters more than other things that matter more.
So if Wanyama scores against Bafana Bafana, the man with the power to read and write will say... Victor Wanyama, linked to the greatest club in the world, has scored a goal that will impress the greatest club in the world.
