Short one today guys...

At times, you just fail to comprehend what goes on in our football bosses' heads.

The other day, I asked an FKF fella what he thinks about their performance so far and guess what he told me...

We are the best functioning organisation in the world, God's blessing to the world and so on and so forth... Long live FKF.

He did not exactly say that, but it was close.

If some miscellaneous guy at branch level says that, then you can imagine what does the rounds with the FKF luminaries.

Considering all the good they have done for Kenyan football.

....

Yesterday, the dates for the FK Cup semi-finals were released.

Saturday and Sunday 13-14 October.... Good sunny days for competitive football and derby clashes.

They actually held a meeting those guys, the federation.. All of them at Nyayo Stadium, together with the four clubs and other important people in the country's football.

AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia in the same room, the fixtures guys at the federation.. All of them.. the clout, the importance of the meeting....

Only to come up with buckets of droll..

.....

After the meeting, very satisfied with themselves, they announced the good news.. We have dates and venues for the semis... (Clap, clap, clap)

Then a few hours later, they come out and bang.. more news.

The matches have been postponed.. WHY??? because (Shock and horror) the coming weekend is an international match weekend.

No matches other than International ones can be played (Surprise)!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the small error Kenyan people.

.....

Then a few hours after the gaffe, more news.

Apparently, FIFA have given the same blundering FKF a thumbs up for a job well done. The same FKF who a few hours earlier had made the gaffe of the year.

What was the word used... Yeah, Thumbs up...

I would say it is more of a thumbs down...

The sorry state of our football.
