When they go bad, they do so at a premium too.
There is not middle ground for the gunners.
In the last week or two, the performances from the first team have been poor, Norwich was disappointing.. Schalke, abject.
You feared for us after those defeats, especially Schalke at home.. That was a shocker.
Bounced back
Against Queens Park Rangers, the signs of our confidence lowliness were there for all to see.
We were quick off the blocks but Rangers expected it.
They defended well and gave us problems because of the way in which they sat back in numbers.
In the second half, they were dangerous on the break, and we needed to force the issue, which is what Mikel Arteta did with that goal. It was not pretty but will do.
It was a win that was gutsy, but much needed.. Three points in the bag alright.
Wilshere
That aside, the win came with a bonus, which was the return of Jack Wilshere.
The little man has been out of action for 14 months and his return, was like that of the coming of a messiah.
No one denies that he is a world class player and one that, if fit can lift Arsenal's fortunes.
For the hour he played, he showed glimpses of why the whole world was waiting in awe for his return.
He was brilliant and even though he showed signs of fatigue and rustiness, he looked real good.
Rooney
In England in my opinion, their two best talents are Wilshere and Wayne Rooney.
The two number ten's are the best talents in the country and are the future of the nation.
At Arsenal, he gives us another reason to hope that we have a good future. We live and thrive on hope and if God wills, this time it will not be a false dawn.
Welcome back number 10.
