Manchester
When I woke up today, everything just about felt right.

It was Saturday and though it was very cold, things were bright for me.

For the first time in a long while, I took a cold shower, then headed to check the calendar.

I saw the date, but just to confirm, I checked again and yes, it was Saturday 18 August 2012.

Which means... English Premier League kick off.

Long wait

It's been a long wait. A very long one.

People will say that there was the Euro 2012, but that is a non-factor for me.

The Olympics on the other hand were just plain boring (Football wise).

I try follow the Kenyan Premier League, but it doesn't appeal as much.

Nothing does for me anyway, nothing like the Premier League.

Big moves

There have already been big moves in the transfer window.

None bigger that Robin Van Persie moving from the enemy Arsenal to Manchester United.

What I will say about that is simple: Big loss Arsenal.. Great Move United.

The combination between Rooney and RVP will be mouthwatering.. I just can't wait to see them play.

Added to Shinji Kagawa's move.. Brilliant.

Competitive

Manchster City the champions wil also be thereabouts. They will compete well and are favourites still, as they showed it against Chelsea in the Community Shield.

Chelsea have bought the best young talent in Europe in Eden Hazard, they will do better than last year for sure.

Arsenal have lost RVP, but you can argue they will be stronger with the new signings, especially Santi Cazorla.

Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton and all the rest have strenghtened..

Which means that it should be another interesting and largely exciting season.

Enjoy

I am happy and I thank God for all he has given me.

I thank him for making me a lover of football to enjoy the beautiful game and not miss out on the action.

For taking care of me as I awaited the return of the EPL.

It is early on Saturday, but I have woken up to write this blog. That is just how happy I am.

I hope you are too..
