One minute you are celebrating, the other you are in tears.
It is even worse if you support Arsenal FC.. It is hard and not an experience I would advice on anyone.
One minute you are talking positives and the future and all...
The other, total dismay.
The loss to Norwich City was one that I can describe as the worst I have seen in my life as an Arsenal supporter.
No one looked like they were interested really.
The goalkeeper Vito Mannone was his usual self.. Shaky and not sure how to make some decisions. He has been backed by his defence all season, but yesterday, he was found out.
Good goalkeepers win their team games, while bad ones cost them points. Mannone is in the second category.
Others looked tired and lost and maybe you can say the international break caused all this... I don't know, but were were abject all day and woeful to watch.
As for the single worst performance of the day, it goes to Aaron Ramsey.
Demoted as captain of Wales recently, he looked every bit a player out of form and in crisis. He was very poor.
I really did not see what he offered us all day, except for costing us possession in critical areas.
He passed the ball sideways, backed out of challenges and was overall a liability. With him and Gervinho in the side, we played with nine men and it was easy to see.
Poor poor day for Ramsey.
As is with the game, we have to move on and as the manager said, it is a week of truth for us.
Next up is Schalke in the Champions League and then Queens Park Rangers at home.. Six points you would say??
It should be six points, though zero points... Could be.
