Blog: My beloved K'ogalo; The time is now

In life roadblocks and brick walls are there for a reason.

The brick walls are not there to keep us out, but rather, they are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. In the end, they are placed there to stop those who don't want something badly enough.

We may encounter many defeats, but we must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so we can know who we are, what we can rise from, how we can come out from it.

It is not enough that we do our best; sometimes we must do what is required, what it takes to bring the trophy home.

Try harder

It should be like.. Ever tried, ever failed It does not matter. Lets try again, lets fail again, lets fail better.

Many of life's failures surround people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. This is not the time to give it up, because we have been to hell and back.

Every strike brings us closer to the next home run. That’s the spirit we should embrace.

Never give in, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to a force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.

Not let it go

We have to show all these teams that we may have been slow walkers, but we never walk back.

We have to stamp this message on everyone's forehead, that we didn't come from relegation to the top of the league only to give it up with three matches remaining, because no team in the league’s history  has travelled our path, has walked in our shoes, has endured our misfortunes.

We have been tried and tested, we have proven our worth.

We have been to hell and back, This is no time to let the trophy go.
