Blog: Leopards leadership the real weak-link

So Jan Koops is back as AFC Leopards coach.

After all the speculation, and merry-go round, they (know themselves) have said that Koops regains a job that he deserves to have for keeps.

This is what I think.

With the kind of outrage that has been witnessed all over the media after the decision to suspend Koops, they (know themselves) have now realized that they have made a bad desicion.

All of a sudden, they now see what Koops has done for the club? Mid-table outfit to title contender.

Now, Koops is everyone's friend and platonic lover. Now he is the best man for the job and things are all rosy??

Mischief

All I can think is, what a waste of time from Leopards and especially the guys incharge.

Why did they have to say what they did in the first place? Why all the hullabaloo and chest thumping?

Now, with all that has been happening, how has the playing squad gained? In what way have the people who really matter, the players, gained from all the up and down... Weche in, Koops out and vice versa.

How does it help their confidence, which is at an all time low?

And why has it been done at such a time? Why now, when things are not good, when we are playing catch-up?

Kituyi mess

Someone asked on this blog forum a few days ago, why Winston Kituyi is talking on behalf of the club and the whereabouts of Chairman Alex Ole Magelo.. I concurred, until I saw his (Magelo's) comments in the media.

He basically rubber-stamped the move to suspend Koops and backed Kituyi's claims that he should go.

Today, they change their story and say that it was media reports.. All the media? and why is it that Kituyi again is the one who is talking on behalf of the club?

I sense mischief here? Why the rash decision in the first place and then the denial much later?

Why does Kituyi say one thing and then turn around and give a flimsy explanation? Why do they have to put us in so much disarray?

Selfish interests

Why did they have to make such statements and take so long to respond to them at such a time, and especially when we have just lost to Gor Mahia and the title race is tight.

Selfish interests all round if you ask me..

Our leaders have once again let the club down. Instead of supporting the team at a time when it was needed, they have gone out and done the complete opposite.

They have politicked infront of the world and shown how weak we are as a club. They have shown me as a supporter that I can not believe them, they are liars and have embarrassed us.

Now, they have cost us a chance to win the title (not saying that we can't).

Shame on them.
