When it comes to football, there is nothing quite as tough as facing relegation.
It is a demotion of status, a hurting of ego and a breaking of hearts. It is not something that you want to live through.
When you are relegated, it means that you have to live a different life and talk a new language.
You have to play in different locations, circumstances and styles of play.
I experienced relegation with my village team and it hurt to this day, I know what it feels like.
Tough mix
In the current Tusker Premier League, the fight for survival in the league is a close call.
So far, any of four sides can go down, with either Rangers FC, Oserian, Nairobi City Stars and Muhoroni Youth facing the chop very soon.
At this point, it is hard to tell who will go down, but as it is with the game, you can tell the direction with which things are going.
Here are my thoughts for the relegation places, feel free to have your say:
Nairobi City Stars: I think that they will survive fourth from bottom.
They have the experience of being in that position for a long time and they know what to do when there.
Last season, they were in a worse position than they are at the moment and they still survived.
At the moment, they have 24 points and three above the relegation places..
Verdict: Will survive.
Muhoroni Youth: The thing with Muhoroni is that they have alot of confidence now.
They brought in good players like Abbey Kunrumi and Harry Gentle and a few experienced players too.
Added to that, they have a really good coach in Alfred Imonje.
They look like they are in good shape and my inkling is towards them staying up.
Verdict: Will survive
Oserian: As for Oserian, I think it is a case of too little, too late.
They made a change by bringing in Sammy Omollo as head coach and it has helped them as a side, because they look really solid.
Confidence has really improved at the club and they have been unlucky not to pick up results.
There is only one problem with Oserian, that they have some hard away games to play, as they take on AFC Leopards and SoNy Sugar.
Without those six points, I see no way back for them.
Verdict: relegation
Rangers: Rangers look the most likely side to be relegated.
Morale is very low, the players have not been paid for a long time and they have made too many changes over the course of the season.
They too have some really tough fixtures coming up, with Sofapaka and Western Stima in the mix, as well as clashes with City Stars and Oserian to come.
I think that they have been incessantly hurt by sideshows and off-the field issues and that has slowed them down to death.
However much I like them, I think they will go down.
Verdict: relegation
