A man's therapy is simple; a clean hair cut, a nice shoe shine on the way home after a hard day's work or a simple tasty meal...but the ultimate of all is the chance to watch live football in the stadium.

90- plus minutes of a movie without a director or script, all the twists and turns that even the best script writer can never master or the best actor match up to. The world famous television series 24 starring Jack Bauer, who was a hero in the series, but he can never match any footballer, however woeful.

David Ginola, the great French and Tottenham Hotspur player once said footballers should be the highest paid professionals due to the joy and sadness they entertain the world with.

We usually get a lot of calls and SMS' to update our friends who for one reason or another could not attend a live match, even when on live TV and radio, as they just want to confirm what they have heard or seen. The lengths we go to make it to nearly all live KPL matches is amazing if not insane!

Good thing

Renowned psychologist Dr. Frank Njenga will agree with me that the best stress remover and form of therapy is live football, as win or lose, the 90 minutes would do a great deal healing to our friends. Football is game for all of joy to be shared, for people of different backgrounds.

However, we have not taken enough steps to ensure that our physically challenged friends are welcome in the stadium.

The challenge here is to our football fraternity: let us make the stadia conducive to all, especially our physically challenged friends, by being at our best behavior and making their access and exits easy even by giving them special passes.

The Gor Mahia- AFC Leopards derby is next on the cards and other than bringing Zack back to the stadium, part of the gate collections should be donated to charity and what a score if BRING ZACK BACK HOME be the first charity to benefit.

This will also give us more purpose to support our local league as we also engage is serious Corporate Social Responsibility.

This trend should continue with KPL looking for a deserving charity to benefit every season so that we have a reason to support those that are not too fortunate. The ball is squarely in our court to bring Zack back to the stadium and at the final whistle Zack back home!
