Tusker FC's Kenneth Wendo, a man under- pressure, a man out of form, a broken man I called him.. Has put in a man of the match performance.
Against former side Thika United, Wendo created a goal and scored one himself.
Wendo looked assured and was hardworking and ever present attacking wise in both in the first and second half.. It was a really good display from the lanky Wendo.
You have to ask how football works though, Wendo totally out of form, shining against his former club.
Looked broken
If there is a word that has matches Wendo's form all season, it has to be broken record.
In truth, Wendo has been like a broken radio tape or a burst speaker.. He has huffed and puffed but not given in the final product.
Watching him has been hard, frustrating.
Patience has been the key when watching him play because he can frustrate a whole lot.
But I guess in football, everyone deserves a break.
Gor match
I know that he did well, but I would like him to do the same against Gor Mahia.
If he can get on the score-sheet or trouble them , I will be happy.
On the other hand, if he goes missing, I will not be surprised because he is capable of both.
Also, there is Joseph Emeka and Dennis Mukaisi who also have not been doing too well. Can they perform in the big match.
If they do so, then we will forget all the bad they have done this season and celebrate them like heroes.
Not turned the corner
Well done to Kenneth Wendo for his performance against Thika United, it was a match-winning one and deserves praise.
How I wish he could do this every week.
