From their first league match where they lost to Everton, the Red Devils are yet to impress, considering the good signings they made in pre-season.
Though I am not their fan, credit needs to be given where its due. Manchester United is among the few teams that can play poorly and still come out victorious.
Away at Liverpool, United were outclassed and outplayed by their opponents but at the end of the day they clinched all the maximum points and so it was against Southampton too.
That is what a good team is made of, and their experienced players in the name of Paul Scholes and the likes, play a great role in this.
Never say die
Another thing that I like about United is their never say die attitude.
You might be leading by a goal or two to nil for most of the match only for them to upset you by equalizing or even winning the game in the last minutes, something which lacks in my favourite team Chelsea.
In United's match against Southampton, it was a clear indication that this team plays until the final whistle, as they came back, even when they looked dead and buried.
If not for the experience of both the manager Sir Alex Ferguson and a clutch of players, then the 19 time English champions would not be where they are right now.
Would they?
