I have to admit, football predictions are never easy to make.
Last year, Arsenal v Manchester United, I said Arsenal would get a draw at Old Trafford.
They ended up losing 8-2.
Early this year, Italy were to beat Spain in the Euro finals.
They lost 4-0.
In the first Nairobi derby of the season, I predicted an easy win for the inform AFC Leopards.
The game ended 0-0.
Never learn
For the record, I have ended up losing large sums of money betting my way to results that really do not make sense.
That is what happens when you gamble. Other things do not make sense to you except gambling.
I have lost my wife's trust, my kids think I am crazy.. But as a gambler, you never learn.
It is like smoking.. You know that Cancer may come, but you still smoke. Real hard.
You have to try again, you get lucky at times and at times unlucky.
That is the life of a gambler.
Gor in form, Leopards not
This weekend, we have Gor Mahia playing AFC Leopards in the biggest derby (Yes biggest) in eternity.
I had told myself that I would not bet on anything, but since my AFC Leopards friends' mouths have been bigger than a hippo's, I have had to react.
I will bet for a Gor win, but this time, I have good reason to do so.
They are bang in form, 13 matches unbeaten, they have the most fearsome striking partnership around and a coach who knows what he is doing.
Leopards on the other hand are stuck in a puddle of mud, they look confused and lacking in ideas.
They are a betting man's version of easy prey.
Go for Gor
Derby matches are never easy to predict, Leopards who are under pressure could come out and play well. They could surprise everyone and win the game. It won't be a shock.
Gor on the other hand have form on their side.
I will go for Gor.. 2-0.
If I were you though, I would support Leopards.. My record speaks for itself.
