Utawala FC are hoping that there will be a peaceful transition in the ongoing General Elections to allow for a return to club duty for it's players.
The Division One side is made up of policemen who have been deployed to the ground to cover the elections and according to club Secretary Kefa Onditi, a peaceful election will see them back to work soon.
- Due to the nature of our jobs, we have all our players out on duty in different parts of the country so all we can hope for is a peaceful elections so they can all be back here soon.
- We start the league next weekend so having them back here by the weekend will help us on our way, Onditi told Futaa.com.
Utawala finished the 2012 season in mid-table in the FKF Division One Zone B.
