Ouma confirmed as Sofapaka Coach

Former Tusker Premier League [TPL] Champions Sofapaka have appointed David Ouma their permanent Coach.

Ouma was elevated to the position of head coach on an acting capacity at the close of the 2012 season after the departure of Stewart Hall-when he re-joined Tanzanian Premier League big spenders Azam.

Confirming the news to futaa.com, Batoto Ba Mungu’s President Elly Kalekwa voiced his support for the Kenya U17 tactician.

-Ouma is officially our new head coach. He has a two year contract already, this is just a promotion.

-He is a qualified coach and I know he will lead the team to silverware. We are totally behind him, said Kalekwa.

Ouma plied his trade at Rangers in 2011 before joining Sofapaka the following year.
