Kenya's national team Captain Dennis Oliech has dropped one position in the latest Castrol Edge Ranking released on Friday 3 May 2013.
Oliech, who is signed to French Ligue 1 side AC Ajaccio, has dropped from position 1526 to 1527.
Midfielder McDonald Mariga, currently on a loan spell from Serie A side Inter to
Parma has dropped from position 2014 to 2231 as Divock Origi, son to Kenya legend Mike Okoth, who plays for Lille, falls from rank 2193 to 2205.
Gabon striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, playing in the Ligue 1 for St. Etienne, is still the best placed African player and has moved eight places to rank seven.
Barcelona’s Lionel Messi has dropped from the top slot, giving way for Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo. Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie has also dropped from third to fourth-place switching places with Bayern Munchen's Thomas Muller.
