Tusker Premier League side Karuturi Sport is in the process of filling the chairman's slot after it emerged that the current chairman David Omega will be leaving the club in a few days.
Reports from the club indicate that a few names have been floated as probable replacements but it is not clear by when the process will be completed by the management.
Omega will be overseeing his last match for the club this weekend at home against Western Stima after which he will offcially leave the club setting the stage for the naming of his successor.
The outgoing chairman left the post after departing his place in the parent company Karuturi a week ago and has confirmed that he will be pursuing other interests.
Karuturi Sport managed to leave relegation last week with their convincing 2-0 win over former champions Ulinzi Stars at the Afraha Stadium.
