The reigning Nairobi District League Champions Intercity registered their first win in the on-going Koth Biro tournament defeating
Kakakuona by solitary goal on Friday 21 December at Pumwani Grounds.
Nairobi City Stars hit-man Justus Basweti scored the important goal of the match in 81st minute after a fine pass from David King’atua.
The win saw Intercity move to the top of Pool ‘B’ with four points following their 1-1 draw with BlackStars on Wednesday.
After the match, Intercity Coach Franck Okoth was full of praise for his men.
-The mixture of experience and young players is really working and that’s why we are playing in the tourney.

Intercity will take on Kenya Polytechnic in their next match in a week’s time.
