Former Sparki Youth FC Coach Daudi Kajembe Rasta was arrested on Wednesday 9 January 2013 by the Police.
Kajembe was banned for life by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) for assaulting and severely injuring referee Martin Shikuku during the division one derby between Sparki Youth and bitter rivals Admiral at Tudor Day ground on 22 September 2012.
Kajembe was arrested at noon by Changamwe police at his residence in Bangladesh and is being held in custody at Makupa Police Station.
Two land cruisers carrying uniformed police officers cordoned off Kajembe’s house at railway quarters at Bangladesh before apprehending him.

Kajembe was charged at the Mombasa Law court on Thursday for causing grievous bodily harm to Wekesa contrary to the penal code.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge and was bonded Kshs. 200,000 (two hundred thousand shillings).
Other than Kajembe’s ban, Sparki suffered even further from the ordeal on that day. Technical Director Mohammed Kheri was slapped with a one year ban as well as midfielder Kelvin Odhiambo. As a club, Sparki Youth as a club was docked six league points.
