Nzoia Sugar head coach Bernard Mwalala says his side’s weekend clash against Zoo FC will not be an easy clash with both teams struggling in the league.
Nzoia hosts Zoo at its Sudi backyard in a match the millers will be keen on picking maximum points in order to move from the foot of the Kenyan Premier League. The team has lost five of its six league matches registering just one win against Kakamega Homeboyz.
Zoo on the hand has won one, drew one and lost four of its six league outings and ahead of the game, Mwalala anticipates a tough closely fought match at Sudi Stadium.
“It’s never easy against Zoo. When we meet them it’s always like a derby and we expect a tough match. The two sides are both struggling and desperate to pick maximum points and as such you expect a difficult match. We are preparing well for the game and I hope we can get the three points on Saturday, Mwalala told Futaa.com.
Last year the two teams played to a one-all draw in the first leg staged at Sudi Stadium before settling for a two-all draw in the second leg played in Kericho.
