Jose Mourinho is willing to sell Daley Blind if the versatile Manchester United star requests to leave the club, with Barcelona keen on signing him, reports say.
The Portuguese coach has used the Dutch international sparingly this season and Blind has made just three starts in the Premier League. Blind has not started in the league since August, with Ashley Young preferred in the left-back role, and while he started in the 2-0 win over Derby County on Friday, he remains behind Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly in the pecking order.
A one-year option on his deal will be triggered to ensure his value to a degree but Mourinho is happy to sell him, should he push for a move, according to ESPN.
Blind’s lack of action has left him questioning his future at Old Trafford and with Barcelona thought to be keen, the former Ajax man may head for the exit door.
