Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) has increased the gate charges for fans intending to watch Uganda Cranes' world cup qualifier against Egypt.
Uganda will host the Pharaohs on Tuesday 31st August at Namboole and the return leg a week later in Alexandria, Egypt.
Previously, against Congo Brazaville tie, Fufa charged Ushs. 20,000, 50,000 and 120,000 for the ordinary, VIP and VVIP tickets.
That has however changed as the federation seeks for more money to fund the national team.
According to the Fufa spokesman, Ahmed Hussein, ordinary fans will part with Ushs. 30,000 (approx $9.5), 70,000 for VIP and 150,000 for the VVIP.
The Uganda Cranes are expected to fly to Egypt a day or two after the crucial home game.
