Chelsea’s first summer signing

Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko could be Chelsea’s first capture of the season with final talks set to get underway next week.

The Premier League champions will have 200 millions pounds transfer kitty this summer in a bid to strengthen the squad ahead of an assault on the Champions League next season. Bakayoko’s fee is believed to be around 42 million pounds and the French international could be the first to arrive at the bridge.

Conte could also go back to Bakayoko’s teammate Thomas Lemar as well as the firepower up front with Kylian Mbappe who are the main reasons why Monaco ended its 17 year wait for a French league crown.

It’s also believed that Conte may be ready to throw in the man whose goal clinched the Premier League title at West Brom, Michy Batshuayi, as part of any agreement.
