Successful surgery for City forward

Manchester City youngster Gabriel Jesus could be back before the end of season  after undergoing a successful surgery in Barcelona.

The 19 year old underwent a surgery on his fractured metatarsal  after he suffered the injury on Monday night at Bournemouth. The Brazilian was sent to his favoured medical facility in Catalonia at the Quironsalud hospital.

The medical stuff had given him option of physiotherapy or an operation but the wonder kid decided to undergo operation which will help to recover fully. Physiotherapy could see the forward return to pitch sooner but with the risk of setbacks causing fresh damage to the affected area.

The loss of Gabriel will open doors for Sergio Aguero who has been a substitute since the arrival of the wonderkid.
