NSL side not celebrating win over Gor Mahia

National Super League side Police is not celebrating despite beating 15-time Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia in a friendly match played on Thursday 16 February 2017 at Camp Toyoyo.

Instead the team according to Head Coach Charles Omondi Korea is focused on the next game as it does not want to lose the momentum gained. Speaking to Futaa, Korea noted that he can see his plan being executed well by the players and he can foresee a better a better season ahead.

Bright future

-The boys have really impressed me. The homework that I have been doing for the past three weeks on finishing is starting to show itself. We are now becoming very lethal in striking. I am now focusing on the next match now because if you celebrate a lot you tend to lose focus. I can see that this season will be a better one, he said.

Meanwhile the defeat to Police means that Gor Mahia has not tasted a victory in the preseason friendly matches having previously fallen to Onduparaka [Uganda], Al Hilal [Sudan] and Thika United [KPL].
