National Super League side, Palos FC will host Kenyan Premier League side, Chemelil Sugar FC in a friendly match on Wednesday 11 February at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
Palos has faced a number of KPL sides in pre-season build up matches and will now face the Abdallah Juma coached millers at their backyard as confirmed by the club through its official website.
Palos coach Paul Ogai says he used the past friendly matches to monitor his new acquisitions and also revealed that his side will play more friendly matches against Kisumu based sides after the Chemelil clash.
-We were monitoring the new players in various positions and full concentration was on them. I am glad we had positive results as we only played against top tier sides. After the friendlies we then resumed normal training in order to see what we could improve on the new players so this Chemelil match comes at the right time. After Chemelil we are supposed to play a few Kisumu sides and I will use the matches to try and find my starting eleven for the 2017 National Super League (NSL) Season, Ogai told the club’s official website.
Palos will be looking to earn promotion to the Kenyan Premier League for 2018 season.
