Sharks keen to make Leicester’s League triumph history

Kariobangi Sharks will be looking to win the Kenyan Premier League trophy in its first season in the top flight come the end of 2017 season, goalkeeper Malcolm Oigo has claimed.

Sharks finished second in the National Super League behind Nzoia United and Oigo has noted that with the mentality the team has and the signings the club is making, it is possible to make history just like English Premier League reigning champions Leicester City even though it will be a bit difficult.

The keeper also noted that, he is not interested in joining any team as he had already set his mind on staying with Sharks

Not interested

-My contract runs till 2018 so I am not going anywhere. I am staying with Sharks. I have not even tried to look if there are teams that are interested in me because I had already set my mind that I will be staying here.

League triumph

-It is possible but again it is still hard. We have good players, we still have our winning mentality and we are organizing ourselves even better and more players are coming who are actually good so winning the title in the first season is possible.
