National Super League side (NSL), Palos FC will rope in a few experienced players ahead of the 2017 season when the team will be seeking promotion to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).
Palos finished seventh in the NSL log in 2016 and will be looking to better its performance in 2017. According to Chairman Patrick Imbuga, inexperience cost his side last season and they will be looking to make amends by roping in a few experienced faces.
-Last year we did well by it's just that we did not achieve our set target which was promotion to the Kenyan Premier League. This team is young and at some point we felt a few experienced players would have been helpful to the team by showing leadership to the younger lot. In that line we will be looking for a few experienced players this window, we want a blend I experienced and young players, Imbuga told Futaa.com.
Meanwhile Palos has lost two players to KPL sides this window. Keeper Gad Mathews is off to Western Stima while midfield power-house Sydney Ochieng has signed for Tusker FC.
