Leopards to loose coach to Simba

AFC Leopards goalkeeping coach Abdul Iddi Salim who is also a former Gor Mahia and Harambee Stars coach  is reportedly to have agreed team with Tanzanian side Simba.

The coach was named among the new AFC Leopards technical bench as Stewart Hall took over from Ezekiel Akwana. The coach is said to have been unavailable at the club during last weeks sessions.


On Friday he traveled to Dar es Salaam having been contacted by Simba of a possible return as goalkeeper coach a post he served in during the reign of Coach Dylan Kerr.

Salim who holds a UEFA certificate has worked with Gor Mahia FC and Harambee Stars during the Adel Amrouche’s time. He has also been in Europe where he worked for Topvar Topolcany in Slovakia.

The keeper’s trainer holds the record for guiding Mombasa FC under 12 team to finish ninth in the Danone Nations Cup in Lyon, France.
